The Mission of EAFCA is to promote the production and trade of African fine coffees to the world.
The Vision of EAFCA is for Africa to be the leading origin of fine coffees in the world.
The Goal of EAFCA is to expand the market share of African fine coffees in the world.
The COMPETE grant to EAFCA focuses on the newly established “Enhancing the Competitiveness of Fine African Coffees Program, or “ECOFAC”. The ECOFACProgram will have a three pronged approach: quality improvement, institutional strengthening, and trade and market expansion,to address the challenges associated with each of the three levels of the coffee value chain. These three building blocks will ensure improved competitiveness of East Africancoffees which will in turn translate to their sustained and expanded market share in the world markets.
