The Mission of ACTIF is, “to promote trade andincrease market access for the cotton, textile and apparel industry in Africa.” This Mission is informed by its Vision which is, “an integrated cotton textile and apparel industry that effectively competes on the world market.”
The COMPETE grant aims tostrengthen ACTIF institutional capacity to carry out its mission and provide services to members. This involves taking the organization to the next level of operational functionality by establishing a permanent secretariat and strengthening its administration and financial management systems; the aim being to build a technically strong and sustainable institution.
